The End (I Think)...

Preface: It isn't even 9 pm here in the small town of Doolin, Ireland but I am already bushwhacked beyond belief and, as this trip is coming to a close, the whole keeping kids posted on events via blog is getting old. So, this will be a very concise/informative/unfunny post.

Rome: Well, the end came to Rome. On the final night me and my closest friends went out, partied hard, and said goodbye. It was a great time filled with laughs and ended with many tears from girls.

Scotland: Let's see... we went to Glasgow, Scotland. The town is very easy to see in one day, so we went there and then to Sterling, Ireland one day to visit the Wallace memorial--I am now more of a man than you (more on this later). Went to a castle. Blah Blah Blah.

I ate haggis which is a tradish dish in Scotland and is basically a lot of goat insides or something (yummy).

Next day went to Edinburgh, Scotland. Did a fun free tour. Learned a lot about Scotland's history and junk. Saw some Harry Potter sites where the book was written. Got creeped out in a cemetery (Scots treat cemeteries like recreational park areas and junk). Drank Irn-Bru (Iron Brew) which is a super drink there that is like some-type-of-soda-I-can't-think-of-right-now-because-I'm-so-tired on crack.

Also, we met a dude in Glasgow that was from Pittsburgh and he was cool and his name was Derek.

Ireland: Went to Dublin. Dublin is cool. The hostel we stayed at was awesomeness breakfast. Went to the Guiness factory and learned how to properly pour a Guiness (got a certificate and all) (I'm more manly than you). Went to the Jameson factory and was 1 of 8 people (majority were wily weathered vets of 60 years and more) chosen to do a whiskey taste test with Jameson, Jack Daniels, and Johnnie Walker Black (I'm more manly than you) Jameson is much smoother by the way and if you want I can tell you why it is just ask.) So, now my drink of choice when having whiskey on the rocks is Jameson (Jack will be my cocktail of choice and I'll try to avoid scotch of any kind at all costs). Basically I'm manly. I always have been. But, when I go home I'll be going home super manly. So... you do the math.

Took a bus to the small town of Doolin, Ireland. Saw the Cliffs of Moher today (rode a bike from town to the Cliffs #woremeout). There is a cool pub in town that plays tradish irish music. Also, went to mass.

Well, I'm home in a few days and I'm ready. My time here has been amazing and I highly encourage all to do it. I'm starving. Living off bread today, tomorrow, and Tuesday. Plane food on Wednesday. Rosa's on Wednesday (yum).

Here are a few pix and all. I'm gonna go shower and maybe watch Community or something.
